We dive deep.
This is the deeper dive into the details. We’ll take a comprehensive look at your life and finances. You’ll help us understand where your priorities lie, and we can start to identify areas of opportunity to align your financial goals with your personal vision.
We design.
Strategic will present Your Plan proposal, a personalized collection of investment and planning recommendations, and a prioritized approach to tackling them.
You think.
At the end of this process, we simply ask you to think about it. We seek long-term partnerships, not quick transactions. There will never be a hard-sell or pressure to say “yes.”
We implement.
Now comes the fun part! We kick-off our partnership with a thorough onboarding engagement. During this phase, we ensure you have everything you need for a successful client experience – we’ll open your accounts, set up your tech, and introduce you to the team members here to assist you.
We refine.
Your life is dynamic, and your plan should be too. We will meet as often or as little as you need while tracking goals and milestones along the way. Our job is to keep you on track so you can focus on what’s most important – living your life.

What is your fee?
We charge a management fee based upon a percentage of the value of assets that we manage.
For example, yearly pricing for a relationship with $1,000,000 in total assets would equate to 1.50% on the first $250,000 and .90% on the remaining $750,000. This would equal $10,500 per year. The management fee covers all aspects of the client relationship with Strategic, including investment and wealth management services.
In an industry notorious for opaque pricing structures and greed, our approach is to maximize the value received by our clients and to ensure that our clients understand what they are paying for our services.
Is there a minimum account size?
Strategic has a $500,000 minimum account size for new clients. As a registered fiduciary, we are ethically and legally bound to act in your best interest. If your assets and/or needs do not justify the cost of our services to you, we will let you know and provide you with great alternative options that will best serve you.
Are you a fiduciary?
Yes! Being a registered fiduciary and acting in the best interest of our clients is a critical component of our business model.
What is a fiduciary?
A Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm is in the business of giving advice about securities and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
By law, we have a fiduciary duty to act in the best interests of our clients. This aspect of our business, while a ‘no-brainer’ on the surface, actually stands in stark contrast to the lower standard of “suitability” that still exists within much of the financial services industry.
How long have you been in business?
Strategic was founded in 1979. Today, a team of 35 smart, financial professionals service over 1,300 clients across personal wealth management, business retirement plans and institutional/not-for-profit investment management.

Strategic uses Schwab Investments as a third-party custodian for our client investment and retirement accounts.
