Celebrating Saranac

The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last week to celebrate the Grand Opening of the F.X. Matt Brewing Company’s Saranac 1888 Tavern and Tasting Room.

The Strategic team was out in full force to join in the festivities. The event was also a great way to introduce Strategic’s new Research Analyst, Mark Abdalla, to Saranac and the Brewery experience.

“As a newcomer to the City of Utica, I was very much impressed with the ribbon cutting event at Matt Brewing Company last week. The fact that the mayor came to initiate the opening showed me the city is in good hands with dedicated leadership who care about local business. All of the people I met at the event had great things to say about the city and I learned that the brewery offers yoga classes and has live music on Thursdays during the summer. The beer tasted great too!” said Mark.
