Associate Advisor – Retirement Plans

Position
This roles responsibility is to support existing client relationships and serve as a trusted resource for plan participants. This includes delivering employee financial education programs in both in-person and virtual settings, ensuring participants have access to valuable guidance and resources.

The role will also help develop participant engagement strategy while communicating Strategics’ individual wealth management services and solutions.

Core Responsibilities
• Primary focus is supporting day-to-day management of existing client relationships.

• Schedules, prepares for, and attends client and participant meetings with Diamond Team.

• Coordinates and helps shape the client service experience for clients and participants.

• Maintain client meeting schedules based upon pre-established service standards (plan reviews and education).

• Draft meeting summaries, records meeting take-aways and manage follow up actions for their Diamond Team.

• Coordinates plan administration tasks with external partners (TPAs, CPAs, Recordkeepers, etc.)

• Escalate as needed participant and sponsor issues to the plan’s Senior or Lead advisor.

• Subject matter expert on recordkeeper systems (both participant and sponsor perspectives)

• Assist with plan onboarding, conversions, administration, and general follow-up.

• Provide participant education/enrollment materials for individuals and groups.

• Identify clients/participants wanting further investment services or financial planning.

• Serve as referral source to Wealth Management (governed by fiduciary prudence).

• Develop ability to manage relationships and progress to a Lead Advisor by gradually taking on new and existing client relationships with a primary service responsibility.

Technical Skills

• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through; comfort juggling multiple deadlines.

• Communication: Good written, verbal and public speaking presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to listen, ask good questions, identify opportunities, resolve conflicts, educate, and coach clients.

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams); ability to learn tools like SharePoint and social scheduling platforms.

• Operational: Working knowledge of the firm’s financial planning tech, client facing technology, performance reporting, and CRM systems.

• Investments/Market: Basic knowledge of securities markets, global economics, portfolio construction and informed on market conditions and news events, and their implications for investors.

• Industry: Basic understanding of retirement plans, recordkeeping and administration service providers, participant education, and basic financial planning.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree requirement, industry specific or other technical training, a plus.

• FINRA Series 65: required within first 12 months.

• An industry credential will be required within 18 months:
• CPFA (Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor), ABFP (Accredited Behavioral Finance
Professional), WMS (Wealth Management Specialist) or similar approved certification.

Professional Experience
• 1 – 3 + Years of professional work experience (Financial Services, Investments, Retirement Plan Administration, Insurance, Payroll Selling or Employee Benefits), is preferred but not required.

• 1 – 3 + Years of background in retail or marketing helpful.

• 1 – 3 + Years related Retirement Plan work experience desirable.

Associate Advisor

Position
The position, within our Diamond Teams, supports the team with being the primary liaison between the Client Service team and Diamond team and primary back-up for Lead and Senior Advisors.

Core Responsibilities
• Client Service: Day-to-day primary/backup contact for clients/prospects and primary back-up to lead and senior advisors. Serve as liaison between client service and advisor team / end client. Coordinate key tasks with professional partners outside of Strategic (attorneys, CPAs, insurance providers, etc). No primary relationship management responsibility.
• Investment and Financial Plan Execution: Coordinates/Executes/Implements
recommendations for client financial plans and investments.
• Follow-Up/To- Dos: Timely completion and coordination of action items internally with proper inputs communicated to team members when delegated.
• Leadership: Participate in firm groups, initiatives, or internal projects/rocks, as well as in the community.

Technical Skills
• Operational: Working knowledge of the firm’s financial planning tech, client facing technology, performance reporting, and CRM systems.
• Financial Planning: Basic knowledge of key financial planning areas (Risk Management, Tax, Estate, Retirement, Education and Business).
• Investments/Market: Basic knowledge of securities markets, global economics, portfolio construction and informed on market conditions and news events, and their implications for investors.
• Industry: Basic understanding of key trends in financial planning and legislative changes.
• Communication: Good written, verbal and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to listen, ask good questions, identify opportunities, resolve conflicts, educate, and coach
clients.
• Administrative: Ability to coordinate key tasks with professional partners outside of Strategic (Estate, Tax, Insurance, etc.)
• Fundamental: solid problem solving, EOS and technology skills

Education
• Bachelor’s degree or significant relevant experience required
• Possess a Series 65 or obtain within 6 months and a desire to enroll in CFP Program

Professional Experience
• 3 + years depending on industry experience

Position
This roles responsibility is to support the firm’s strategic growth initiatives by executing marketing campaigns, producing high-quality content, and managing key digital marketing activities. They will collaborate closely with the Chief Growth Officer and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure campaigns, communications, and marketing programs are executed with excellence, consistency, and measurable impact.

Core Responsibilities
•Support the day-to-day execution of lead generation campaigns aligned with firm priorities and growth goals.
•Assist in the development and maintenance of marketing calendars, including email series, webinars, educational content, events, and client communications.
•Build and update landing pages, forms, and basic website content to support lead generation and conversion.
•Coordinate the creation, scheduling, and posting of content across key channels (e.g., website, email, LinkedIn, other approved platforms).
•Draft and refine marketing copy for emails, ads, landing pages, and social media, in alignment with the firm’s voice and compliance guidelines.
•Help set up and maintain marketing automation workflows and nurture journeys within the firm’s marketing technology tools.
•Monitor and track campaign performance (traffic, engagement, leads, conversions) and provide regular reporting to the Marketing Manager and leadership.
•Assist in managing and maintaining data quality within marketing and CRM systems, including list segmentation and basic lead routing.
•Manage the firm’s social media by creating, scheduling, and monitoring content across approved platforms, ensuring content aligns with Strategic’sbrand voice and compliance requirements.
•Monitor social media engagement and performance, providing insights to improve reach, engagement, and lead generation.
•Coordinate with advisors and internal teams to promote events, webinars, and other growth and marketing initiatives.
•Partner with Compliance to ensure all materials, campaigns and content follow required review and approval processes.
•Perform other marketing responsibilities as needed, including special projects, assisting team members during peak periods, and adapting to evolving marketing priorities.

Technical Skills
•Energetic self-starter with a strong interest in digital marketing, demand generation, and measurable growth.
•Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines across campaigns and projects.
•Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex ideas into simple, action-oriented messages.

•Familiarity with marketing automation and email tools (HubSpot,) and willingness to deepen expertise.

•Ability to interpret basic marketing analytics (e.g., website traffic, email performance, campaign reports) and summarize key insights.
•Comfort working with lists, spreadsheets, and basic reporting to support segmentation and campaign analysis.

Professional Experience
•1–3+ years of professional work experience in marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, or a related field is preferred but not required.
•Experience in financial services, professional services, or another relationship-based industry is helpful.
•Background in content creation, social media, events, or email marketing is desirable.
•Experience collaborating with sales/advisory teams, or in roles that support business development, is a plus.
