As a Financial Advisor, Greg utilizes his nearly 20 years experience in law to problem solve and plan for his clients. He works with individuals and businesses alike to develop and to coordinate optimal investment, estate and financial planning strategies.
Greg has an impressive professional background in which he has provided invaluable leadership and counsel to families, businesses and institutions across New York State. He was the founder of The Mattacola Law Firm, Vice-President/In-house Counsel to Rome Memorial Hospital, and most recently Counsel to Hancock Estabrook, LLP. His practice included a focus on estate planning.
Mattacola received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from St. Bonaventure University in 1994 with a Dual Major in English and Political Science before receiving his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1998. Mattacola was the winner of the 2006 Accent on Excellence Award and of the 2004 Mohawk Valley 40 under 40 award, recognizing his business accomplishments and contributions to the community. He has been a multiple time author, co-author and featured speaker regarding a variety of workplace and employment-related topics.

Despite running out of water and hallucinating due to dehydration, Greg once ran the Grand Canyon from Rim-to-Rim-to-Rim.
Being outside, snowboarding, spending time with friends and family around the fire pit, riding his motorcycle and watching his two boys grow into young men.
Greg and his two sons live in Lee, NY where fiance Sarah will soon deconstruct the house of one and two half men when she and Greg marry in the fall of 2018.
