Mike is a seasoned wealth management professional with a demonstrated history of collaboration in the financial services industry. As Strategic’s Lead Advisor, Institutions, Mike specializes in Institutional relations and will also service a select group of high-net-worth clients. Mike brings close to 20 years’ experience as an Institutional Portfolio Manager. He focuses on building lifetime partnerships with each of his clients, advising them on such matters as constructing spending/investing policies, fiduciary responsibilities, and asset allocation. He strives to bring effective and appropriate financial solutions to each institutional and individual client he serves.

Prior to joining Strategic, Mike’s extensive Institutional experience came while with KeyBank’s Victory Capital Management and Key Private Bank in Albany, NY. Here Mike served in various leadership roles including Senior Portfolio Manager overseeing portfolios for Endowments, Foundations, Corporations, Public Sector and Taft Hartley clients totaling just under $700million. Later roles included Victory’s Director of Client Portfolio Services – Eastern US. Next with Key Private Bank, Mike took on the additional role of Regional Director of Investments (East Region). He received his BS in Marketing/Management from Siena College and holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification, administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

    Mike’s been both a Marathon runner and a Regional Champion Competitive Eater….in the same year. He’s played at the World Series of Poker against two WSOP Main Event Champions, and won several hands. Was best friends with Anthony Michael Hall for 2 hours, once.

    Going to Maine or Disney with his family, keeping said family well fed and laughing, playing poker, running and reciting rap lyrics.

    Mike lives in Rexford, and tries to measure up to his amazing wife Francesca, daughters Madeleine and Abby, and the Roosevelts (rescue cats Franklin and Eleanor)
